OUTREACH PROGRAM

Image
At 7:30 in the morning, we gathered as instructed by Ma’am Loy at the gym, where we assembled for our outreach activity. After some time, Ma’am Loy told us to prepare because we would be leaving. Once everyone was ready, we headed to the destination. When we arrived, the children and their mothers were already there. They were asked to sit down so the program could begin. The program officially started with an opening prayer. After the prayer, the activities began right away. The organizers initiated fun games for the children, which helped create a lively and joyful atmosphere. The children actively participated and seemed very happy and excited during the games. After the games, we distributed clothes to the children. This was followed by a short talk given by Sir Roger H. Prades, who explained the purpose and importance of the outreach program. He emphasized the value of helping others and sharing blessings, especially with those in need. His message highlighted unity, c...

On the last day of our immersion, the morning was very busy because we still had many tasks to finish. Everyone remained focused and worked together to complete all the responsibilities assigned to us. Despite feeling tired, we gave our best effort because it was our final day.  This showed our dedication and teamwork, as we wanted to leave a good impression and finish strong. The morning activities required cooperation, patience, and time management. Each member of the group contributed by performing their tasks responsibly.  Working together helped us complete our duties efficiently, and it reminded me of how important teamwork is in achieving common goals, especially in a professional environment. During my 9-day immersion, I learned many valuable lessons about responsibility, discipline, and teamwork. Arriving on time taught me the importance of punctuality and preparedness, which are essential qualities in any professional environment. I realized that cleanliness and organization help create a positive environment where everyone can work efficiently and comfortably. Through this activity, I learned to take initiative and contribute without being told. Later in the day, my supervisor asked me to deliver some important papers. During the eight days of immersion, students were constantly surrounded by the new language, which created an environment that encouraged learning naturally. From the moment we started each day, we were exposed to speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities that helped us develop all aspects of language use.  Being immersed in the target language every day allowed us to practice actively rather than just learning passively from textbooks. Throughout the day, I learned how to handle challenges calmly and responsibly.  When unexpected tasks or difficulties arose, I remained patient and focused instead of becoming stressed. This helped me think clearly and find effective solutions. I realized that staying calm under pressure is an important skill in any workplace, as it leads to better performance and decision-making. I also strengthened my teamwork and communication skills. I became more confident in interacting with my colleagues, sharing ideas, and offer...
